Hiking Ingalls Pass

Much later in the season than usual, I finally made it out for a real cascades hike. Katy and I hit the Teanaway Valley for a hike to Ingalls lake. My new hiking boots rubbed 2 inch diameter blisters on my heels which prevented us from fully reaching our destination but the views were so spectacular it was still well worth it. Especially considering we were able to see our first mountain goats. Who didn't seem at all concerned about us. With a stop at the Rosyln Brewery on the way home it was all in all a spectacular day east of the mountains. (We didn't even see any snakes!)
The hike details and directions can be found here.... http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/getaways/090497/hike04.html
